Magical Maple Tahini Cookies

Magical Maple Tahini Cookies

There’s something undeniably comforting about a cookie that feels both nostalgic and new. These Magical Maple Tahini Cookies hit that sweet spot — nutty, chewy, and kissed with just the right amount of natural sweetness. Instead of refined sugar, they’re made with Sunnymede pure maple syrup, which adds depth and warmth while keeping the texture soft and rich.

The tahini brings a creamy nuttiness that pairs perfectly with the maple’s caramel notes. Together, they create a cookie that feels indulgent but is made with real, wholesome ingredients. Plus, they just so happen to be gluten-free, grain-free, and easily made vegan — though no one would ever guess it after the first bite.

These cookies are the kind you’ll want to bake on repeat: quick to whip up, pantry-friendly, and guaranteed to impress anyone lucky enough to snag one off the cooling rack.

Why You’ll Love Them

  • Sweetened naturally with pure maple syrup
  • Gluten-free, grain-free, and vegan option
  • Soft, chewy, and satisfying
  • Just a handful of simple ingredients

Ingredients

  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 1 cup runny tahini (can sub with nut butter)
  • ½ cup Sunnymede maple syrup
  • 1 egg (or flax egg if vegan)
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 cup of chocolate chips/chunks (I like to use a combination)
  • top with a sprinkle of sea salt

Recipe

  • Mix the almond flour, tahini, maple syrup, and chocolate chips. (The dough should be thick.)
  • Let the dough chill in fridge for 30 minutes while you preheat the oven to 350°F.
  • Remove the dough from the fridge and add an egg and baking soda. Mix until incorporated.
  • Scoop dough onto a baking sheet. The batter should make about 16 cookies.
  • Bake for 10-11 minutes. Be careful not to overbake; they should be nice and chewy.
  • Immediately sprinkle sea salt flakes on top and let cool. Enjoy!
